Looking at a more contextual issue of creativity in business, this blog post discusses the nature of the mixed cultural economy. If we are all busy doing our creativity and running our businesses, why should we take time out to engage with the cultural policy makers who take decisions and spend public money on culture? What in it for us? Cultural policy is facing some big challenges, and maybe creative businesses, along with broader creative networks are the best placed to help address these challenges.
